FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)

Q.) Are your dolls copyrighted?
A.) Yes, they are! From the moment that I completed them, they are mine and are even more so with my signature tag. A signature tag is not what makes them copyrighted but the act of me making them.

Q.) Can I create blinkies from your dolls?
A.) NO! You may NOT edit my completed dolls! Although, you may make your own doll from my bases and then use it for blinkies.

Q.) Can I use dolls of yours that have already been edited by someone else?
A.) NO! Delete them from your hosting server and your hard drive. Do NOT edit my dolls!

Q.) What does 'My Base' mean under your dolls?
A.) It means that I used one of my own bases to make the doll. It does NOT mean that the doll is a base to be used.

Q.) What does 'Base' mean under your dolls?
A.) It means that I used one someone else's base to make the doll. Click on the link to go to the original base maker's site. It does NOT mean that the doll is a base to be used.

Q.) Can I add your tutorials to my own site?
A.) No but you can save them to your computer for future viewing.

Q.) Can I adopt your gifts?
A.) Unless I have specifically sent one to you, the only gifts you may adopt are under the General Gifts section.

Q.) Can I edit your gifts?
A.) NO! Gifts are not meant to be edited unless I had made one specifically for you. The gifts are not freeware or stock for usage.

Q.) Do I have to credit you for the palettes?
A.) Goodness, no! Palettes should be free for anyone to use without having to credit back. Besides, they are not that difficult to make.
The skin palettes must be credited if you use them for basemaking.
The patterns and military prints must be credited as well!

Q.) Why do you encourage base editing?
A.) Honestly, I love pushing people's skills. Please, edit my bases to make them unique!
But, just because you have edited them, does not make them yours. You still have to link back!

Q.) Can I repost your older bases?
A.) No, you may not! If someone really wants to have them then they must contact me.

Q.) How do I use your site templates?
A.) The instructions are in the ZIP file as a Microsoft Word document. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me but I will not do all the work for you. The templates are for you to use and learn on.

Q.) What level of difficulty are your site templates?
A.) They should be between beginner and intermediate. A beginger will be challenged but it should not be impossible for them. As for someone who knows what they are doing, they will find it easy.
